Update on scoring and providing evidence basis for assessing pathology in lupus nephritis
2023, Kidney InternationalUse of Histologic Parameters to Predict Glomerular Disease Progression: Findings From the China Kidney Biopsy Cohort Study
2023, American Journal of Kidney DiseasesCitation Excerpt :However, the lack of a consistent grading scale makes it difficult to compare the results of these studies. There were only a small number of specific disease entities with scoring system that already including semiquantitative measures of chronicity, such as IgA nephropathy (S and T scores of the Oxford Classification)29 and lupus nephritis (National Institutes of Health chronicity index)34. The standardized CS provides uniformity in assessing the severity of pathologic changes and prognostic risk stratifying for patients with diverse glomerular diseases, especially for those enrolled in clinical trials or observational studies.11
